Noro Ganpi Abaka Tape

Noro Ganpi Abaka Tape at Pavi Yarns is a fabulous yarn made from a blend of Japanese tree bark and rayon. It is gathered from 8 year old trees found in the higher elevations of mountains. Abaka is from the stem of Manila hemp grown in the Philippines and Indonesia. Whilst being strong, it is lightweight, has a beautiful sheen and is wonderful for making a Summer garment with a difference.

The skeins are 50 grams in Europe, unlike the 40 grams in the USA.

Fibre: 40% Ganpi Abaka/58% Rayon/2% Nylon.
