Noro Ganpi Abaka Surabu at Pavi Yarns is a stunningly unusual 'yarn' from Noro with pattern support available in the "Noro World of Nature Volume 21" booklet.

Ganpi is a unique Japanese art paper, made of precious natural fibres gathered from eight year old trees found in higher altitude mountains. It is very strong and has a beautiful lustre.

Abaka is produced using the fibre derived from the stem of Manila hemp.

Noro's paper yarn 'Ganpi Abaka' has blended both the natural fibres of Ganpi and Abaka ~ the result is a yarn which has the gorgeous lustre of ganpu and the lightness and flexibilty found in Abaka.
