Baby cashmerino 2 is the second book to accompany Debbie Bliss' ever popular Baby Cashmerino yarn, a lightweight cashmere mix which is soft and cherishing for little ones.

This collection combines delicate cardigans and jackets with a more sporty cabled top with a hood and a smart tank top. For the new knitter there are smaller projects that would make great gifts for a new baby, a moss stitch coat hanger or a stripy beanie hat for example and I have included more simple knits with an easy knit poncho and garter stitch matinee coat. The bunny toy was a real hit with the babies on the shoot as you can see from the pictures inside!

Baby cashmerino looks and feels like a luxury yarn but importantly is easy wash and wear, making it both baby and carer friendly.

This book is made up of two collections.

Pure Cotton is a super soft cotton that is a perfect fibre for creating elegant, simple styles. Lightweight for Spring and Summer, I have used Pure Cotton for gilets, a collared tank, and cabled jackets that drape and swing and for when you want a special knit, there is a contemporary cardigan that glistens with sequins.

The palette reflects the softness of the yarn, with faded, vintage shades that include oyster, pale pink and blue and a deep mulberry.

Stella is a stunning mix of cotton, silk and rayon. This combination of fibres produces a fabric that creates wonderful stitch texture and definition, and this is shown in this collection of designs that include an easy knit tank top in a simple stitch, a pretty lace tunic, and a casual aran style sweater.

The colour palette for Stella ranges from vivid brights, such as an acid lime and hot pink to the more classic chocolate brown and stone.

Debbie Bliss ~ "Out of Town"

Out of Town is a collection of designs that features SoHo and Debbie Bliss' Cashmerino and Alpaca Silk ranges. Here is your capsule wardrobe for a rural retreat, snuggle into sweaters, long line tunics and jackets and enveloping coats. The designs showcase the yarns; a circular shawl style jacket relies on the drape of Alpaca Silk DK for the softness of it's folds, the reversible fabric of Cashmerino Astrakhan is perfect for collared jackets, while the multi coloured effect of SoHo enlivens simple shapes. The patterns all feature larger sizes and include my favourite A line styles for a flattering silhouette.

The Donegal Tweed collection is a range of elegant knits that encompass all the key silhouettes - sleek and tailored, generous and cosy. Debbie Bliss has used all her favourite classic stitches but interpreted them in contemporary styles, with city slicker jackets in the aran weight and enveloping coats in the chunky.

This book represents the ultimate for children age 0-3 years.
