This Noro book was photographed under the stunning ruins of Bolton Abbey. The Abbey is in North Yorkshire, right in the heart of England. Fortunately, the weather was great and the day was filled with brilliant sunshine. The garments are beautifully complemented with the fantastic backdrop of the Abbey and rustic stone.
In Pure Noro, as with all Jane Ellison's Noro books, she has continued with the philosophy of simple straight-forward patterns that let the beautiful Noro yarns do the work. In this book, Jane has played with stitch techniques to create even more textures. The garment shapes include easy to wear jumpers, such as Ginger and Black Velvet, as well as more fitted cardigans, like Sea Breeze and Manhattan. The choice is wonderful and perfect for either Winter walks or something more elegant for dressing up a little more.
Noro Yarns featured include Noro Kureyon, Silk Garden, Silk Garden Lite (new), Cash Iroha, Silver Thaw, Iro, Silk Mountain, Cashmere Island (new) and Noro Kochoran.

Naturally Noro is a collection of garments and accessories that continues the same philosophy of Jane Ellison's first Noro books. This is to create easy patterns with no complicated abbreviations or techniques, just straight forward simple patterns that let the beautiful colours of Noro Yarns shine through.
In Simply Noro Jane used simple shapes to flatter all sizes while in Noro Knits she used stitch techniques to create garments to fit any body shape. Within both books Jane wanted to create garments that compliment all shapes and sizes.
In Naturally Noro she has taken these ideas from both the books and combined them in one book. There are simple shapes as well as stitch techniques that create a completely different look once again.
As always with the intense colours of Noro Yarns each garment you create is truly unique, even if you use the same shade. With these yarns the knitting is just as fun as the end result.
This beautiful book contains 17 contemporary designs by Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton using a wide variety of Noro yarns. The book is photographed and some takes inspiration from the magical Mexican Hacienda Real del Puente Xochitepec.
